Lobster season
Could somebody post the date when the gun goes off for lobster season this year. The only date I never forget is Valentines Day, everything else goes blank. Thank you.

The official start of the 2007 season is 12:01 A.M. Saturday, September 29. The maximum daily take for the Southern Region is 7 bugs per licensed fisherman with a minumun carapice length of 3 1/4". Make sure you have a measuring device with you. You can use a maximum of 2 hoop nets per angler on piers, 5 hoop nets per angler on a boat, or maximum 10 hoop nets per boat, up to 36" diameter. "Conical" or "Stealth" nets are currently legal, but that may change. Be nice to your fellow boaters and help anybody that needs it, don't run over anybody else's lines or your own for that matter, no loud noises or bright lights, and see you all on the water.

another thing. the possesion limit is 7. Meaning if friday night you get your limit. You cant go out and catch anymore unless you either eat some or give some away.
