If all else fails take some plexi glass and heat it up and fit it in the window. I know it isn't the best but it will get you going rather cheap till you can get a glass replacement.

You could go to Wally World "Walmart" they sell clear plastic sheets $3.75 yard cut it to shape and tape it down for the time being.....good luck on the Tuna Run!

yeah plastic sheets and brackets very simple to make no more that 10 bucks total and will hold up to the wind.. cut plastic to shape desired, then using metal flat bar 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch thick drill holes in plastic and flat bar.
use nuts and bolts to clamp the bars to the window frame use about every 10 inches should hold up to a hurricane wind.
