Strawberry I can't agree with ya on this one. If someone is concerned addressing their concerns is priority one. You might not think that it is a problem and for this I agree but if someone thinks things are going south I for one encourage them to speak up. The idea behind the site really is to promote better etiquette and that goes for the site too. Please don't take it that I am singling you out just wanted to let others know that if you have a problem we want to know.

It is true that allot of us know each other well and you would think that Joey and I hate each other when your around us in person. That is just how we joke with each other and it works for us. It doesn't always work well with others though. I would suggest that if you think someone is being a jerk and not just their strange sense of humor ask them. It isn't crossing the line to say "are you joking or are you serious"? I know that in most cases you might think the first thing is people will jump on you but remember new people most likely have asked a question on another site that they in fact got jumped on for. Here we just can't allow that. I have been lax in letting things go further then I think they should but I don't want people to think that every thing they do I will EDIT them for. I will be tightening the reins here though as things are getting a bit lax. Not that anyone is doing anything wrong just need to keep things a bit tighter for our younger viewers.

Ding just to clear the air I never took it at all that you were criticizing the moderators here. If I did I would have asked in a pm, I think you bring up a great point and I am glad you feel comfortable enough to put it out there. We are not above questioning here. If you have them let them fly and we will do our best to address any issues you may have.

However you can't put 7 thousand people in a room together and expect everyone to agree. We welcome opinions and thoughts from all sides but when it turns into a flame war, the line gets drawn.

I will admit, the amount of deleted posts per day has grown a bit but rest assured, the situation is under control and the forums are being closely watched for unnecessary nonsense. It will not be tolerated, period.

If any of you have a problems with anyone's post, or see anything that shouldn't be there please feel free to message any moderator or admin and we'll do our best to address the issue.

Although I'm new, I've enjoyed what I've seen of this site so far and I will continue to post my reports. Enough said!

BOTTOM LINE

This is OUR home and we can have heated debates, disagree and even think the other is total nuts but we need to be adults about it and polite.

There are times that things will get a bit out of hand, that's OK as this IS life. I will not moderate heated debates even if they start to get a bit off but I will not let it get out of hand either.

We just should not be to thin skinned as many of these bozos are good friends and talk to each other in ways I don't understand yet mean no harm or negativity.

Get Bent is just fine and we will continue to grow and get better. With growth comes some pains and learning curves as well.

Hang tight as things (I HOPE) will be getting exciting over the next year...

From the oldest member to the newest, your thoughts and opinions count and we DO want to hear them.
