What's with all the newbies?

Have you guys noticed there have been a lot of newbies signing up and taking shots at everyone? It seems like every time there is a new thread discussing an issue some newbie chimes in with something negative or ignorant. There should be a stipulation to join where if a newbie has more than one negative comment within his first 10 posts he should be deleted. I'm getting tired of people joining just to poke fun at us. In the Aquarius threads one newbie said we're a joke for not wanting sinkers and jigs thrown at fellow fisherman. In the Black Sea Bass thread a newbie said we were stupid for being angry about a BSB for sale. WTF?!?!?

Newbie morons piss me off....

That's because they're from other boards and they don't know better.

I think Jaredd means Newbies in general...not based solely on the number of posts. if the guys he's talking about posted 1,000 times and became "senior member" or whatever, they'd still be newbies to the sport of fishing.

And just because they don't know any better doesn't mean they should be allowed to post ignorant things such as "i say kill it all just another fish." When people happen to see these posts by chance they don't know if it's some random noob or people who actually represent this site. That makes it easier for others to classify all fishermen as ignorant rednecks who are out to deplete the oceans...not cool

As a newbie I'll try to conduct myself accordingly. By the way, how many posts does it take to nullify the newbie status and do they have to be quality posts or simply the chime in pat on the back types?

Please don't let a few jackass newbies cause you to lump us all into one category. If you want this site to grow, you need to welcome new members. I fish on a regular basis and I'm quite certain my reports will be a welcome addition to those who find the information helpful.

All that being said, I can understand your frustration, but keep in mind stupidity is never limited and is displayed by everyone from time to time.

Have a great week!

Newbies are cool. Some know more than all of us here, they are just NEW here.

As for the ones that are JERKS. Well, they won't and don't stay around long. They leave of their own accord or we ban them. If they get way out of line we inform their ISP of their conduct and if all else fails Joey has a little surprise for them and it doesn't matter if they are using different Usernames or computer IP addresses heheehe he's good......

It's all good now go fish and show us pictures all of you. It is raining here or I would do the same for you.
