I think some lady currently owns the boat. I wouldn't be surprised with the economy the way it is...

I find your perspective on the price interesting to say the least, just how much do you think he should sell his boat and business for?
Just to put a little factual data on the table, so to speak, I researched a comparable boat so the comparison would be apples to apples and not apples to oranges. The information is listed below and the price is just for the boat nothing else. The Spitfire was built in 1994 and the boat below was built in 1995 extremely close if you ask me. They are both commercial sportfishing boats as well. The difference in price between them is $67,000.00 which would account for the cost of the established business itself. So once again, I am curious, just how much do you think he should sell his boat and business for?
1995 Aqua Bay Marine Charter - US$450,000.00
Super charter fishing/dive passenger boat! Impeccably maintained by family charter business with the same captain since they bought her. Certified for 28 passengers, but can be recertified with a stability test for up to 70 passengers. Boat runs great and includes all USCG approved safety equipment. Seller retiring from business after 40 years and is very motivated. Bring all reasonable offers!
Check out this substantial and reliable offshore fishing/charter boat! Owned by a family charter business, this boat has been thoroughly maintained and USCG inspected annually. Comes with all the necessary USCG safety equipment and life rafts to accommodate its 28 passenger certification.
Price includes the following permits: Gulf of Mexico Charter/Headboat Migratory Pelagic (4/30/07); Gulf of Mexico Charter/Headboat Reef Fish (4/30/07); Atlantic HMS Charter/ Headboat (5/30/07). With the moratorium, these permits bring incredible value to this sale.
Current certification is 28 passengers, 100 miles offshore. With a new stability test, this vessel can be certified to carry 70 passengers.
