WOW!!just spoke to the gentlman who told me of his sons trip-the bad part is that it happened bout a yr. ago-and the really bad part is that he believes his son may remeber the boat bcuz it was worst than i originally stated-they woulnt give his fish to take uncleaned so he actually told them he would just give em away then and they accepetd that !!and they were givin away-so this happened a while ago- and i didnt know that when i psted this up- so crew has probably changed a few times since-i give up on thus one but thanks for the replys-i believe there was an azz somwhere in the equasion but the dad is a nice guy and id bet his sons a pretty good dude too. i gave him this site s info. to join he told me that hes taking a fly fish class at i think ventura colledge-hopefully we got a new member out of all this-

Ridiculous!

I was told about this post by Jodi805 and I couldn't believe it. If a boat told me I would have to pay $2 for every fish I wished to keep I would be less than kind in my response. I paid to fish on their boat and whether I choose to have my fish cleaned or not, the fish I caught are mine to keep.

It's nice to give a tip if you got the money, although if you want to do it yourself you should still give a tip IF the deckhand did a very exeptional job.

Nicely said Jeff and Jodi. This would NEVER, and i repeat, NEVER, happen on ANY boat that I work on or have worked on in the past. I mean as a deckhand i will tell you that fish cleaning is a large majority of our pay and I do want all people on the boat to get it cut, but if nobody wants to get their fish cut, fine by me. ITS THEIR FISH. And to make anyone thing otherwise, well thats just bull.

How much do they charge if you loose a fish due to a poorly tied knot, or for not casting far enough? Do they accept I.O.U.'s cuz I'm in a million dollars $1,000,000.00 of debt by now !!!
