Smile BEST WISHES FOR THE NEW SEASON

I’ve not been around here as much as in the past and thought I’d just let you know I’m still alive and well. Somehow my life has changed and one of the reasons is that our fishing has gone incredibly bad this year which has caused me to diversify in to other hobbies and activities. I took up handgun shooting again, but guess what, another problem, I can either see the target and not my sights, or my sights and not the target, so something has changed here as well……optical sights required they say.

To get back to fishng,…..our weather pattern has changed a lot and I hope that it is only a temporary phenomena. This has resulted in a much more violent winds, and our average water temperature was about 5ş f lower then normal. I have managed to catch about 10% of what I would have expected.

Any case, yesterday I went out on a boat with my buddy and we had a nice day in some fairly large swells. Here is a picture of the catch on my lawn when I got home….too tired to even arrange them nicely for the camera. Yellowtail, Albies & Barracouta.

My body feels a bit abused this morning but will survive.

My best wishes for you new season, hope you all have great catches and good fun.

Thanks for the report and nice catch. I was beginning to wonder what happened to you with no posts for quite a while. I hope your fishing gets better, but I don't think the eyes will get better. Welcome to middle (old) age!
