How big are the pictures you are trying to upload as profile pics?

Try opening with Microsoft Office Picture Manager
then select Pictures
then scroll down to Compress Pictures
then Select Compress for "web pages".
Save to a location and then add as your profile picture

You have to remember that you can only put in a picture that is 100 X 100 pixels and 64k.

You can down load a picture resize from Microsoft's web site that works well and is easy to use. I don't have a direct link but it is about half way down the page. The link is HERE.

Well that is in the signature line, you can put up a picture 500X200 pixels but it has to be 39K or less. You can put up an avatar to the left that will allow a 175X175 picture that is more square but still only 40K or you can link it from any number of hosting sites. I use imagecave.com but photobucket.com and others that allow forwarding can host it for ya too. If anyone has problems with a picture you can email me the picture I can resize and shape it if for ya and will email it back at no extra charge. Just let me know if it is an avatar, profile pic or a signature line picture so I can get the file size and shape right.

Your call boss but I have both my monitors cranked up to 1280X1024 and the pictures are not the bad. You can save a picture at 40k and still have good quality.
