just had to put a post out there alan contacted me cuz he read my post and said he would work on it .he called me i explained what the problem was and he thought we could do it over the phone so instead of booking me for postage and parts and the pain in the ass of sending it and waiting for its return like im sure could have easily happened elsewhere he walked me thru it like we were diffusing abomb like in the movies he led me to the website for scematics helped me find which one was mine cuz there was a bunch of different 5500c3 reels waited for me to gather my work space and tools and spent at least a half hour walking me thru it we fixed it . i was hearing i had to replace the whole right side and somthing about a antireverse bearing which it doesnt even have or just take it to my local tackle shop like i did already he saved the day !!!!!the world would be a better place with more people like him if u see this post alan thanks again and i hope to to get the opportunity to buy you that beer
