6 ounce pyramid and 100 pound braid works WONDERS....ask the guy at Pyramid I uh...someone took down after he antagonized us...uh...them for over an hour and the sheriffs did nothing about.
Said operator was skirting the shore line as the story goes , by no more than 10 feet from us..... uh .... the anglers, some of which were in the golden years of life and getting not only irritated but in fear of potential harm. So after one elderly gentleman asked the younger more agile and ready to strike group of us...uh....them....tied on ONE 6 ounce pyramid sinker and let it fly when the jet skier was about 20 yards away on the return trip (approximately 7th time) And it wrapped around him a few times before the drag could do its thing. Once the slack was taken up as he was turning to go back into deeper water ( they were right by the swim beach on the point just south of it actually) he was taken off balance and into the drink. The hopes of a pyramid dink to the head were there but never happened but the thoughts of WTF must have been heavy on the drunken skiers mind when he had 2 or 3 wraps of braid and at least one cut to his arm when he went into the water. All the anglers 9 total were uh, happy to see he was not seriously hurt...uh...yeah thats it....and his gf came over to see what happened and she was ON OUR SIDE and she said she was sorry for what he was doing and We all....uh...they all believed she meant it. The sherriffs waited at the dock for him to return and was sited and I believe...as the story went...was arrested for dui and drunk in public.
