Angry Casitas Inspection SHOCK!

After waiting 2 months at #259 on the inspection list, I finally got a call to get my boat inspected yesterday. I made sure not to have ANY water, oil, or debris in my boat so I could finally hit that post spawn, no heavy pressure LM bass action going on right now. The ranger found in the front bow, under the dry storage area, beneath a life vest 3 (THREE!!) dry leaves. He immediately FAILED me and has quarintined me for 28 days!! UNBELIEVABLE!! I asked (to the point of pleading, short of begging) let me just take out the three leaves with my hand..."NO CAN DO, I ALREADY SAW THEM"... WOW I'm still in shock.

Dry leaves should not be taken lightly! They could wipe humanity right off our planet!

Sorry about this, very sad story! I'm not sure I understand the significance of Dry Leaves...

What is their reasoning behind failing you for having 3 dried leaves in your boat? That's pretty extreme considering the leaves don't pertain to anything quagga related.

Joey,

I thought they weren't inspecting at Piru?

They sure are. A buddy of mine cleaned his boat up before going to Piru (he didn't know about the inspections either) and the ranger found water in the bilge and he was banned for 28 days. This happened the day before yesterday.

As the Ranger stated it "Debris is debris.." By the way on my FAILURE/DENIAL report he spelled debris "DEBRIE"! UN-DAMN-BELIEVABLE!!!
