Shimano Trinidad DC reels

Has anyone used any of the Shimano Trinidad DC reels yet? I've been practicing but still manage to get a few backlashes and was wondering if these reels were any good.

for the cost of one of these reels...just keep practicing..dont fall for shitmanos gimmics
EVERYONE backlashes...it happens...no need to pay $500+ for a reel that you will still backlash because you dont have the fundamentals behind you.
Just go out one day on a 3/4 day, get up on the bow..and cast till you hurt..and then keep going..that one trip will make you better..

I went fishing last week and was practicing with little swimbaits and it was getting ugly!! I am just getting anxious now that the albacore are on their way and I don't want to be left at the rail picking at my reel! I do ok casting larger tackle. I have an accurate reel that I borrowed and a progear 251 and a torium 20 and calstar 700 ml and 700m rods. which reel should I spend the most time practicing with or does it really make any difference? Thanks for your help

Just flyline finbait and you'll be fine.

Be patient, get to know the reel you're using and the spool tension settings and most importantly don't forget to use this --->

BTW, it's not just a reel. It's a complete fishing system!

that is what you need to do...cast cast...and then cast some more. having slick, limp line helps me a lot. Others prefer stiff line.
