ive really never been into barrys and i really dont know why-but ive had em smoked b4 and there real good also deep fried -is deep fried the best way for these critters?

They are actually pretty good if you treat them right. After catching, immdiatley bleed and ice. If you don't and they sit in a warm gunny sack all day, they are very fishy tasting...

They are good mako bait, lobster hoop stuffers but best planted under a rose bush.

Right on w/the bleed ,and ice.Make fish ,and chips w/em the same night.My kids love em.Darn things are so much fun catchin em on irons.

I'm not a huge fan of them on the grill or oven....but I have yet to find a better tasting smoked fish. IMHO, better than any other fish out there.

ive been hatin on em for a while and i think its just because all the hours soakin on the ven. flats and pesky barrys are on the prowel for my wsb offerings! but all the barry talks lifted my hyatus now!!

Well I just smoked the rest of mine and the kids love them !! I also agree bleed and ice makes for a beter eat'in fish. Kids also luv em deep fried. Fish n chips !!! Yea Baby !!!
