Reason: typo
Where you're at I am not sure they get them out of Morro but I would head to Santa Barbara and launch out of there and just troll a dine or mac on a shark leader (125# steel cable) about 7 bucks made up at sports chalet. Get the 6/0 hooks and nose hook (troll) or tail hook (drift) the bait and troll around the area. You can all so just drift in about 30+ feet of water and let the bait swim around. No real science to it. The best thing is look for bait balls and troll through them in hopes a T will come an chow down. Make sure you make up a tail rope ahead of time if you plan on keeping them. I would run 30+ pound line and any rod reel combo that can handle it.

7FOOT ROD 15-30LB CLASS WITH TORIUM20 SPOOLED WITH 30# ANDY PINK ,BAIT MAC,DINS FOR SURE STEEL LEADER WITH CIRCLE HOOK,GOOD LUCK,THIS HAS WORKED FOR ME
Ballyhood and mack combos are deadly and Megabait makes a great lure kida resembling a rapala that dives fairly deep and works like a charm. Tail net is important if you wanna take one home BUT do the next generation a favor and if they aint mature let em swim. TIGHT LINES MAN
