Walk me thru this

I just paid 25.00 a scoop for Sardines. I know it's the cost of fuel but I had an idea..If I have an open trap with some sort of bait in it and I lowered it into a known baitball or area where I can see bait fish can I collect enough to fill my tank? On the paddies I see the bait fish all the time and they are chasing the blood trail of the allready hooked bait. I was thinking about maybe trying it out..Any ideas?

Dude, unless you like making bait, $25 for a scoop of dines is a deal. Spend your time fishing and less time worrying about the price you just paid for bait.

I can remember chasing shad all day at casitas and waisting fishing time--im all about saving some bucks usually, but when it comes to the fishing im pretty quik to throw some cash at any problems that may occur! we always tip the bait girl a five too, the CI bait girl was our friend Dicks grand daughter, poor Dick past away before he got any time too go hally fishin with us but he was a neat old man!!enjoy your fishing time ---you deserve it!!

CISCOS' half scoop is the same size as venturas' full scoop....for the same price. A $5 tip at both places will get you a little extra.

I always liked Larry in MDR. He would look at your tank/bag/whatever and know how much bait will stay alive...and recommend only that much. Then he charged accordingly.

No matter which dock you use, those guys (& gals) remember the boats that tip. They also know which part of the crowder the liveliest/healthiest baits swim in. More bait doesn't always equate to better bait.
