Thanks man! Yeah I used a similar approach with Skinner but I don't know if it was the heat or not working the right structure but it was like beating my head against a wall hahaha. Kinda humbling tho. I usually never fish a body of water without at least pulling something. Good lookin out with the tips on Silverwood I'll for sure use em. I have a new white and gold spinnerbait I think I'll try as well as a few solid white ones I can throw as well.

I was at silverwood last wednesday and the stripers are chewing. They are little and the best we found was chunked dines for bait. Limits by 10am. If fishing large mouth, don't think twice about throwing the plastic (worm) purple is best in this lake. Fished this lake for over thirty years, trust me. Just remember that the limit is two and 15 inches if you want to make lunch out of them. Also there is always Mojave river forks camp ground on the road by the dam.
