The salsa I like to use with tacos is pretty simple and is like the usual green salsa.
Get some tomatillos, jalapenos, and an 1/4- 1/2 of an onion.
Throw them on the grill to cook them as well as char the outside a bit. Toss all of it into a blender and blend away...salt and pepper to taste. Depending on how hot you want it depends on the number of jalapenos you toss in...keep the seeds in for more heat...if you like it a more citrusy add in some lime juice
My guac recipe is probably standard:
haas avocados mashed up
onion chopped
couple tomatoes chopped
cilantro chopped
juice of a couple limes
1/2 tsp of ground cumin
1 jalapeno minced
salt and pepper to taste
Score more points and make it together
