Try it!!!! Ron’s Mako Madness World Class Fish Taco’s Make way for the best Shark Fish Taco’s you’ve ever had!!!!! (This will work for most shark meat) You Will Need: 2 Med. Mako Shark Steaks, (about 8-10” dia.) or about 2 lbs. 12 ounces of Pineapple Juice, 5 ounces of Lime Juice, (Concentrate) 3 ounces of Orange Juice, 4 fresh Garlic Cloves - crushed, ½ teaspoon Fresh Cracked Pepper, (Black or White – no matter) 4 0z. Lawry’s (Liquid 30 min. Marinade) Caribbean Jerk seasoning, (Although any Jerk will do, even powder, but use 2 Tbl. Spoons if powder.) 2 oz. of Soy Sauce. For The Taco 1 cup of Plain Yogurt and 1 cup of Mayonnaise (Mix two together and stir up with teaspoon) 16 oz. Shredded Jack or Munster Cheese, shredded lettuce, raw spinach, cilantro, diced tomatoes, and corn tortillas. Directions Mix all liquids together in a large freezer/ziplock bag, and add the pepper and crushed Garlic Cloves. Shake/mix in bag for about 2 minutes. Marinate the shark Filets in the liquid (Bags) for about 5 hours in the refrigerator. This will start to cook the meat with the citrus infusion. Next, grill the filets till done. (About 5 minutes each side, BBQ at somewhere between med & high heat. Over low heat warm the tortillas on the stovetop burner 30 seconds then flip for about 20-30 seconds. (Just don’t burn them!) Fish goes in tortilla, spoon Yog/Mayo sauce over fish, and your favorite salsa if you like, then Lettuce/Spinach/Cilantro mix, cheese, & tomatoes. In that order. Chase with your favorite Ice Cold Beer! It doesn’t get any better than this!
