Best blank for Sailfish...

I am looking for a winter project...A sailfish Rod.What blank should I use?...Seeker,Seeker XXX,Calstar,or some other.......I have heard reports that the XXX is a bit whippy or the tips are too soft....also which guides to use. i like the way the new American or is it PacBay Eliminator guides look but have not heard any reports on their use....LMK...Thanks Richard
