Just finished what is hopefully my last arrow of light awards for our Cubscout pack, or at least for a while. My youngest is bridging to Boyscouts on Monday.
This was the largest group I had done this for, and if you've ever been involved in Scouts you would know that 13 boys is a larger than average den size.
We had the boys make their own plaques as part of their handyman acheivement, and the threadwork represents their rank advancements through years.
Orange for Tigercubs, Yellow for Wolves, Blue for Bears, and the larger Red with the Green accents signifies the 2 year commitment in Webelos.
There is a mirror image on each side of the arrow, and the beads in the middle represent differrent acheivements that the boys earned, including mine.
Anyway, hope you guy can appreciate the effort and time involved, and if you have scouts of your own, it's not a bad way to give the award to your own scouts.
