G. Loomis freshwater spinning rod

Hey guys. I've got this SJR-782 6'6" medium power fast action spinning rod. It's in the GL2 series of components and blank and is very light with a lot of backbone. There is absolutly nothing wrong with this rod except for the fact that the tip is a bit stiffer than I like for throwing light carolina rigs and split shot rigs. I am replacing this rod with an IMX series 7' because I think I will like the tip a little better for throwing a light (~1/8oz) c-rig or split shot.

In my opinion, this rod is very well suited for heavier caroline rigs (1/4oz or so) and texas rigs. It would probably be a very nice small spinnerbait rod as well if you prefer spinning rods over baitcasting. Here is the information on the rod taken from the Loomis web site:

One of our most versatile warmwater spinning rods, the 782 has a fast taper for a more positive hook set and greater casting distance. The extra length provides better line and lure control, especially in deep water, where slack line may cost you a fish. A good choice for fishing minnow baits like the Long-A and Rapala, and the preferred rod for split-shotting worms and grubs. If your preference for bass is spin over cast, this is a good-no, make that great rod.

This rod has only been on the boat twice and only used once for about 6 hours, so it is brand new. I am asking $130 firm and pick up in Long Beach or meet somewhere close. PM me and I'll get back to you ASAP but I will be gone this weekend so we can take care of it next week.
