Got on the water a little late for me but i worked all night and 8:00am had to do. Decided to try a new spot. Not even a breeze on the water yet and it was overcast. Fished for 3 hours today and did alot of paddling trying new spots and different plastics. Ended the day with 3 bass and 1 Halibutt!

Notice in the back ground of this pic you can see my top of the line cell phone case (ZIPLOC). Just got off the phone with the wifey and hooked up this guy.

Never thought that holding a fish, camera, and tape measure could be so difficult.
Taped out at roughly 20" and not a skinny guy either. Well thats it for the post off to sleep.

Jason

Nice one, Jason. Are you taking the picture with your teeth?

You must prefer Cherry Beach to Cabrillo? I would guess that you've tried Cabrillo, since you're in the area.

If the weather is OK in the afternoon, we're going to hit Cabrillo after walking the aisles at Fred Hall.

Also, I've got to get a fine mesh net too, so as not to harm the 'but fins.

Actually John i have never launched at or fished Cabrillo yet. I just dont know where to fish there. I am kinda of waiting to get the electronics set up before if i am going to go solo. I would feel more comfortable going with other people.
