Last Hooping Report 3/19 EASY Limit.

I guess easy is a relative term...limited out by pulling 12 legals in just under an hour....but feel sore as hell today. On the water just before 7PM off just after 8pm. Nothing but rock crabs and spiders on the first pull. Then an all out crawl started after a little extra soak time...2 quick sets to get my limit...then had to let the extra bugs go while pulling and packing the hoops on the third set.

Calm evening out for some.....

Not so calm for me....video as always looks calmer than it was(boats all on the inside as usual)..had to pay attention to the sets.

And of course, the money shot.

Oh yeah, only a handful of boats on the inside that night.
Last night Stubbs and I hit it again for one last try. Toughing it out on the outside hoping for another quick and "easy" night. Was not meant to be. All alone on the outside with the winds howling. Could've easily kicked it on the inside but where's the fun in that? More boats inside than the night before.
On the water at 6:30PM off just before 9PM.
I really think we got spoiled this season....too many nights with limits in less than 2hrs. Think we only had one or two nights where we were out for more than 3hrs.
Yeah it was a good season!!!

And a few pics from last night....dont know if Stubbs saw me or not but I was snapping away, trying to capture what it is that we do out there on the yaks. Keyword there is "trying" I think Jeff will concur..it was worse than it looks.

It was sure a little lumpy out there...thats why I opted for the nice dry ride of the FND!

Dude, I wouldn't go out in that on my boat, much less a yak. Congrats on the "easy" limits
