Great report glad you got out. I love mantis shrimp but such a bugger to get very cautious but taste fantastic. They can take a finder off from what I hear but have seen a video of them thumping a lobster and killed it is seconds.

Hey Mike, was glad to read that you know about these pretty things since your hand was awfully close to that sucker!

They can see outside the water as well as they do inside, and they can puncture your finger/thumb right through the bone. Super dangerous critters these, they move faster than the speed of sound.

Great reading your report, hope to see you out there this summer.
