4/15 Wind..Smind! We gotta fish!

Regardless of the weather we had plans to make it out today. Got in to work an hour early
to make it to the launch with the rest of the days crew.

After looking around for a little while I find one or our targets.

Talk about a size difference!

Time to shred some plastic on the 6lb test!

Almost a couple dozen later...it's time to go take a look on the outside for something different. Nuthin happening.

Head back in with one last troll..and bam! A nice way to end a
relatively beautiful day on the water. Now for a couple hours sleep before work!

Looks like it started out calm...then someone turned on the wind switch. At least you got out and got a few.

Hey MJ,

Eugene caught a 20 pound 36 inch Halibut on the inside. I landed it with my lipper gripper. Darn thing almost twisted my wrist. Nice day. But am totally tired.

I borrowed this pic from SCSF.

Nice report. Great pics. Is this PDR?

Should have been MDR. Playa Del Rey old swamp lands, swamp grass, smelly and if found today would still be there due to environmental studies, some critter about to go extinct, etc. However, since it was useless land in the old days some enterprising peeps spent a lot of money and VOILA!

Marina Del Rey. High priced land with many uses and useful as we all can see.
