but big hali bit my friend Paul' s Xmas tree Big Hammer swimmie on a 1 oz lead head (no squid) bouncing on the bottom drifting.






On the same swimbait, Paul also caught a BSB, approximately 75 pounds, 5 feet long and about 2+ feet girth. 40 minute fight. Pulled my bud a 1/4 mile. Successfully revived and released.


We have full motion video of the catch. Just waiting for my friend to edit it for the good parts.

I heard on the radio that 2 guys got pounded by the waves over and over again on the way into paradise cove.

Great day out there. Wind picked up in the end.
