South of Children's is another cove, where the big cobblestone wall is, forget the name of it right now. Launching at the Cove will get you a ticket from the lifeguards.....

OK, yeah, that's in front of Casa De Manana, where the rock climbers practice. That could be a rough launch amongst the reefs, plus the stairs. However it would save a mile paddle!
