LJ 6/13

Headed down after work and and got to LJ at 1am. Planned to sleep till 4is but that was a no go. Launched at 0230 out of boredom. The short, got my first yellow tail!!! A fire cracker but excting none the less. Deffinatley worth the 6hr round trip from Bakersfield and no sleep!! This was my 5th time fishing La Jolla.

Niiiiice. Right in front of La Jolla Cove Hotel.

Can you launch from the Children's cove yet, or are the dam seals still controlling the area? I don't know what's worse...the seals there or the nuts protecting the seals.

You mean you can launch at La Jolla Cove where all the scuba divers and the swimmers are? Or are you talking South of the Children's cove?

Sounds fun ODOG, but unfortunately I've got work commits on the 16th. The KSF tourney is the 16th, too.

Well the plan was to sleep when I got down there but that didn't happen. Too paranoid!! So I said what the hell and launched!! If I would have had some bait, I think I could have got into all kinds of stuff!! It was real fishy and I was metering very large fish everywhere untill the sun came up.
