Late LJ report

Launched out of LaJolla Tuesday morning with my buddy Marcus. The good news, it was flat. The bad news, Marcus snapped his paddle on the way out, I blanked on the fish department. Still it was nice to get out of LA for a day and fish.
Preparing for the launch. On my way out I thought I had timed the waves but ended up taking one wave to the chest but managed to stay upright.

Greasy conditions with a bunch of fellow yakkers

This guy had a good day and was nice enough to hold up his catch for a quick pic. Also saw one other guy with a nice WSB. From what I heard it was a slow day overall.

Thanks for the report Frank.

Paddles break over time, they are not indestructible.

Usually I bring 2 paddles with me where ever I go. One big paddle, for the days of big surf. And one light paddle, for all other days.

The man with the yellow is Adi's friend. Jasmad(sp?).

Well, lets hook up sometime when you are free.
