10/19 not dead.....

Been quiet lately.....haven't had much to report. LJ has quieted down (for me at least) for the fall.

Fished it this morning from greylight till 9AM and had the place all to myself.....wind must be blowing up off pt. conception, 'cause there was tons of windswell, otherwise glassy and pleasant, just not too fishy. Did find a nice baitball to babysit and chased that around with bait in the water and working the iron - couple of rakes on the bottom, but no sticky. A couple of weeks ago I had a nice BSB that was massive, but haven't had much joy since.

November usually brings in some squid and the yo yo fishing for jellos picks up and go damn near wide open homeguards, so, looking forward to putting a candy bomber on the bottom and griding the heavy iron until something happens....hopefully doesn't take till June!

Hang in there Dan.......once the squid move in again, I'm sure something big to chew our baits will show up!

BSB is better than nothing.

Hope the squid comes in thick.
