Got in the water pretty late on Sunday, around 10am. Fortunately, the weather was spectacular and the waves were small. The tide swing was unreal and by lunchtime it was 7 ft... I thought we were going to wash up on the PCH! I suppose we could've went clamming the same day, seeing as how the tide was a -1 by dinner.
For the most part, the session was very slow. I decided to call it and we were heading for the barn when Potto hit pay dirt. (That's why it's so tough to make that last cast. Just one more cast and you could find that honey hole.)
Austin and I immediately crowded Potto's spot

and picked up fish right away.
Between Austin and I, we got:
4 rockfish
2 sand bass
1 calico
Potto picked off a nice batch of the same, plus a sculpin.
Here's us sharing the whole ocean in 10 square feet:

This grumper was only out of the water for a brief photo op, then released.
