White Island Loking,..

Got to the Island around 930am, woke up late,..still made it out before high tide, got some big mussels before they went under, rigged up for some perching and got to work, went around the island twice looking for some Sargo, none to be found,..nothing but BMPs around the whole island, caught about 30 of those perchies, alot of fun on 6#! all slabs, so that was a cool deal, also caught alot of little kelp bass, sculpins and a first for me...a uni? very calm day, hardly got windy, looks like im getting a hang of this kayak fishing, cant wait for next weekend, gonna do the jungle on Saturday and Irvine on sunday! also i cant wait to put some big fish on my yak!

now that is a great view,..

Nice pics. I've never caught a sea urchin before. You must've really been really patient to set the hook on that one.
