Super late report from 9-18

Went out with Marvin (Blacklion) and Aaron (fishn8r) last sunday to Goleta beach. Marvin and I went out in our yaks and Aaron patrolled the beach. I fished swimbaits almost all morning for 1 corbina, medium size maybe 2 lbr. I caught some great looking bait and a wide variety of it. Nice little baby smelt, mini mack daddies, large sardines, and even a couple spanish!!!

I thought after I made this bait I would be hooked up on a nice flattie but NOPE!!!

I took the skunk!, so did Marvin and Aaron........ well I thing Aaron ended up with a perch.

The fishing sure has slowed down!

OH WELL!!!! I'LL GET EM NEXT TIME.....................Or ............ next year!

Any day out on a kayak is a good one in my book even if you have to fly the skunk flag. We gotta get a GBSF yak trip some time Edited by: longrod

From what I've seen it's been kinda slow locally...so as yak said, if you and Marvin didnt get into anything, the fish must have vacated the area...or word through the underwater is that they're on to you guys as you've gotten ahold of too many neighbors lately.
