Del Mar 6/28/06 lunch run....

Got to work nice and early to help justify my pending lunch time butt hunt (should have stayed on the beach for that as it was slammed with the "right kind" )

Anyway, back to the fishing....Sunny and glassy, water was 68, just friggin perfect. Fished plastics for flatties. Had one heartbreaking headshaker that i could barely budge on 15# line that eventually shook off....teensie cuda were splashing about and following the lures, but it seemed the bass were the hungry ones.....

Hopefully my next report will be a week long chronicle of my visit up north.....and hopefully with some fish

Here are some vids and pix

Dan, great reort as always.Know exactly what you mean as far as the "beach butts". Nice time of year for that.
Going to be at Leo all next week for family vacation, my wife said " it's a family vacation" I can bring one rig. She doen't know it yet ,but our fifth wheel is gonna have my yak strapped to the top of it LOL. Would be great to hook up and fish with you, what channel VHF will you be on ? TL-Mark

I'm gonna be up at Seacliff next week, so I will focus on areas up there....It's gonna be a family trip as well, so mostly shore fishing (which has been good up that way in the past for me), but I'm gonna try and work in a decently sized yak outting at some point. Hopefully I can get a few waves at some of my old favorites as well.....
