7/18 'Bu
Off to a late start this morning but at least I got out! On the water just after 8am. Big waves today but got out clean...same with the landing.
Total count was 5 Calico's and a Sandie. Biggest Checker's were just over 4lbs and 20", Sandie choked down a smelt that was bigger than him!




And a little clip of a good 19 or 20" Calico on the crankbait....self releases at the end so I couldnt get a good shot of just how big he really was.

The points were going off! I was going to paddle on the inside to get a few shots. It wasnt all that crowded out there, amazingly quite a few surfers dissappear when there's a swell in the 'bu. Guess it's cause they cant just sit out there looking pretty.
