Gaviota July 19

Mellow launch in glassy calm conditions. There was good current and I started catching bass right away. Caught about 6 before calling it a day. VERY fun pulling on those bass with 10 pound test and my new Calcutta 200.

Second is a pic of limits of WSB. We had limits before 4 AM. Unbelievable wide open bite last week.

Hey Adam - What boat did you get the limits of seabass on? That deck sure doesn't look like a yak.

Great report.
Glad to see Gaviota produced some bite. How was the wind, surf and swell?
Good enough to go to Jalama?

I was out on the Sea Bisquit last Wednesday. That bite was amazing!

Potto, Im launching at Jalama manana. Wind and swell will be very minimal - just perfect for yak fishing T's.

Nice report about Gaviota. Let us know about Jalama also. Both very cool spots.
