Thumbs up 7/25 La Jolla Yellow (almost plural!)

Very lively out at La Jolla this morning!! Many multiples were had by the PBs and kayakers today Bendo city for the dozen or so that were around.

I had multiple opportunities, but only converted on one ~10#s. Butt loads of breezers all morning to keep the heart pumping and the iron grinding--saw one school that had some size to them for sure. The cuda and bonies took most of my hard earned baits, and my last half dead mac landed the yellow.

Farmed one of similar size at color (doh), and farmed a much bigger fish that went airborne for the JimiJig after a minute or so. Also saw a mako jump 3 ft out of the water as I was hooked up with this fish.

I finished the morning out by the Dolphin and NSF (1/2 day boats) who were enjoying a nice steady pick on firecrackers and bones, I was finding the 4-5# bonies---still a great time on the iron. Kept 3 bleeders for the smoker and released about a dozen. Needless to say, LJ is really fishy right now. Get your butts down here for some yellows.

Here's a couple of the one that didn't spit the hook:
