LJ 8/2 Report (with a nice shade of yellow)

Lost one at gaff, and got one to stick. Just under 10#, and just as fiesty as the larger one that came off. I think that catching a bunch of bonito and cuda on heavy gear is teaching me some bad horsing habits---the farm job was total user error. A bit of wind from the west, not too bad, water feels like it cooled a tad, but still 70+.

Both fish hit jumbo 10 inch greenies. After losing the first one, I saw a guy go big bendo about 200 yards off in the direction I was heading, so I scooted out to where he hooked up (he was off on a bit of a sleigh ride), first cast of the iron got a big bump, and then the flyline went off.........played him nice and gentle......Stoked to get to pull on some fish, and glad I at least got a look at the lost fish!

Way to go again Dan. You are going to have to show us all how you do it pretty soon.
