Hi all & thanks.
I am over the moon and honoured to win this competition. The photo was taken on our West Coast at a place called "Misty Cliffs" at about 18h00 on an overcast winter afternoon. I don't usually take a camera, but especially went to take a pic for this competition having seen the beautiful sunsets there on previous afternoons.

I have been fishing there since June this year for the first time. I can't remember if I caught something that afternoon, but will in future have a special memory of the spot.

My thanks to Thresher and All Surf Fishing Tackle for sponsoring the prize.

This photo competition was an excellent idea, lots of nice pics were entered.

It is a picture of myself, taken by myself with the help of a rock holding the camera.....LOL

PS I did not, repeat NOT bribe the judges Didn't even try.

I will try and take a picture of "Kids fishing in the UK" for August!
