This years trophies we were not very pleased with in comparison to past years. Next years will be customized with our logo - SO of course I want to be in the running for these. Bring you fighting shoes as I won't by laying down for anyone and will ensure room in my Suitcase for the trophies heheehe.

Every year Drew has given 100% to the cause, hell, he always has regardless of it being during the Jamboree or not. If a member needs a hand he is always there if at all possible.

being from vegas,I like the Idea of a poker game, but Tim thinking he's going home with the trophy????? NOT!!!! we will kindly desplay it at City hall here in downtown Las Vegas....LOL...

Now I don't want to go causing problems but considering I have to travel across the U.S. just to get there, then rent a car and drive to Ventura, then literally jump from one event to the next with me getting most my sleep on the Charter Boats and STILL winning the trophies, well - ya know - thought I taught you others before I left how to catch some fish. Guess I didn't teach you all my tricks .

OK, OK I am not stupid. The progression of so many of you has been remarkable and with all these new members as well I am like the newbie now. Most have far surpassed me so maybe it is like Beginners Luck .

Well we hope to be at ICAST next year so we can fish all those neat places in Vegas....

I think we should all use Squidders for the Batray Derby! I'm in for more donations to the raffles and prizes next year and count me in on Texas Hold'em!

All the trash talk and bragging aside , I thought Mugu worked out well except for the facilities. I tried to think of a place that would be better and couldn't. Either no toilets at all or very limited parking on the weekends. I would like to personally thank everybody that was involved in this event . The wife and I had a great time thanks to all of your efforts. Drew, that was a great BBQ and you spent a LOT of time sucking smoke behind the grill . Joey, way to hold that clipboard ! LOL. JJ, this would not have been the same without your contribution . Next time, add 2 inches to whatever I catch and I'll hook you up later . As always, I am willing to help out, so next year.....

We had a great time and look forward to next year. I agree Mugu was a good spot except for the facilities. Also with the charter issue why not offfer noooooo refunds, maybe it will work out better.

Next year its got to be a potluck with a donation for the main dish be it burgers,dogs or tri tips. The attendace at this years event proves we can cover a potluck, donation format.
As for location, well Mugu was okay, too many issues there though.
We are going to need help from you guys north of VC and the guys south of VC too.
There seems to be a few places we could use but it seems fishing is a priority as some of these places get large beach crowds.
I'm sure we will find a better location....
