if you follow that one guy on westernbass, it sounds like if the employees are scared to lose their job. they said that casitas board members are having their friends with boats try and sneak in with debris planted on their boat as a test....thats messed up imo

Take caution when coming up to Piru and use discreation when launching. In the morning most of the debri is out by the dam but come noon time when the winds pick up the debri starts moving northwest into the marina and launching areas making it hectic for boaters to moore.

On a good note though a couple days ago in Felicia cove on the North shore about 50 yards West of the cove entrance I witnessed seagulls dive bombing the surface along with Grebes diving in the area. I navigated closer to the area of excitement when I then witnessed bass breaking the surface and saw both Grebes and Seagulls coming up with large amounts of baitfish. This went on for a good 5 minutes, so if you come up to the lake this area may be of some interest.

They have been checking boats over at Castaic lately too. I had someone check out my livewell and the bottom of the boat before letting me in. Crazy stuff.
