Castaic Striper on BASSTUB 7/8
Took the BASSTUB to Castaic for a standard early night mission. SoCalSteve and I figured trolling would be the hot ticket after landing the DD last time. Dumped her in the water around 6pm and it was time to fish! Arrived at the "spot" and dropped the rigs. Within a few min of trolling, my rod goes TZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! BENDO! I throw the boat into a drift and FISH ON! Felt like a fairly good fish. After a couple tugs and runs Steve grabbed the net at color and SWOOP! 5.2 lb Striper landed and heading towards the "light". Just another day in BASSTUB Paradise! Trolled for an hour or so after with no more love. Pulled the boat out at closing time and off to clean the fish for TACO'S! Until nex mission. Pic is on it's way! Steve!

Creekster, no idea why they are acting like that. That is twice now that we get slammed early on then they lockjaw for the duration...

I'll be hitting the water first thing in the morning trying to find the cousin to that DD you guys caught the last time!!!
