I feel that low light, water conditions, and time of day are the main ingredients in my style of popper fishing, Matt. But I'm going to have to learn other styles for fishing from the shore. I may have to go back to "wiggling rubber"

Water temp? I stepped on a wiggly rock and almost found out first hand.

Stepped on another rock and chased a bass out from under it.
