Casitas 3/30 fishy report

I caught 1 solid 5LB large mouth fishy on the popper this morning. The catch was witnessed by 3 guys in a pontoon boat who figured that my spot was the spot to fish.

fishy truck sans fishy boat

fishy bird pointing out fishy spot to fish

fishy cloud cover

fishy popper sans one point due to hard bone in fishy mouth requiring cutting off the barb for quick and non-surgical release

fishy reel loaded with fishy 6LB line

fishy angler

I'll give you credit for going to Casitas without the boat and just fishing from shore. That is a hard pill to swallow for those of us who have boats with no mussels in them!

This was my first time shore fishing Casitas and its a new learning experience, Jeff. But what the heck....I never caught a lobster before this past season.
