What a joy it was! Met some great peeps, Phishy, wils and Frank from GBSF, and photoho from Allcoast.....

First photo you wils representing very well!
Second pic phishy is working it along with his family and my daughter in the far left...
Third pic I had to represent the Dark Kings...lol..
Fourth pic some of the volunteers...we would scoop 3 to 6 seabass from one pen to the other, yeah it was some work but well worth it!

Thanks Frank!!

that wind picked up and the baby started crying..had to leave earily..i stopped at the beach little further up after breakfast..it was blowing about 45mph..

Over 7500 10"-12" white sea bass were released to become future meals for all of us. No seals. No poachers. welllll....one lone pelican came floating by to see what was going on. but he looked like he already had his breakfast.

Major Kudos to Frank Sullivan and his organization for running and maintaining these white sea bass grow-out pens!!!!!!!!

This was my first of "many to come" volunteer efforts to help keep this program alive here in our own backyard.

It was good to see and meet some more GetBenters out to lend a hand for the future of OUR fisheries.

Photo Ho/Wayne took over 200 pictures. He'll have them online soon.

Great program that should be supported by everyone and duplicated elsewhere.
When I caught some white sea bass lat week I felt quite "guilty"...did tag and release two though.

I wish we could have made it. We are starting baseball season again so weekends are shot for a while. Thanks for all the hard work to Frank on his white sea bass pens. They are and will continue to be important to the re-population of white sea bass at CI

Made the trek up there to see the operation. Very cool. If anybody in the OC wants to help out on pens, pm me. I'll introduce you to the Newport Pens. Took me an hour 45 to get there, sunday morning at 6am. Scared to think what during the week would take.
