I feel that if all (7,712 members) that come to this sight would spend the 39 precious second of there life to keep the break wall open to hoopers, this type of frivolous law enforcement would be a joke and tossed out... But people have to understand that those in power who are making these types of laws have all power, great means, and abuse it at times... It will start with the break wall and hoopers, and you might think well I don’t hoop or that if does not effect my part of sport fishing that I like to do…. let me say this.....next it will be the jetty and fishers, then the pier, then the surf... in about 20 years of this type of law enforcement you will loose your rights to fish from any beach in California. So do not take this lightly these types of law makers have an agenda and are very well at succeeding in passing these types of laws... why... because people are slowly blinded by these types of laws and don’t get flat out angry and mad as hell that a right is being "stolen" from them...But, if you don’t feel any convictions of standing up for yourself.. never mind this paragraph and just be on you merry way to communist united states.. cause that what will happen if you don’t stand up for what is you own right....(also its your right not to a single thing but i already stated where that leads)....c’mon 39 second for your right to hoop are you really that busy?

Agreed Paul Rosas. I have never hooped and don't live up there, but if they take away that breakwall, then what next? Reminds me of one of my favorite quotes (speaking about the Nazis):

You cannot sign the petition if you do not have seperate email addresses. I signed but now my boyfriend can't because we only have one email address and it says that email address has already signed. Does the email address matter??
