Those forecasts are best guesses.

Well I got the lower unit filled (more to come on that little chore) I just SCORED a navman 3500 from boaters world for 100 bucks I am so stocked about that. Now I only have that to put in, the water pressure sensor, finish mounting the 2nd GPS, and clean up all the tools and rinse it off and I am ready to go out and freaking kill myself. The good news is the boat is insured so my next of kin will at least have a few bucks to bury me at sea if they....pull me...out of the....oce...an. Ya if I die out there just tell them to forget me.

It was a beautiful day all day between Goleta and Santa Cruz. You should be just fine for tomorrow, and I am sure you can find someplace to hide overnight at Cruz like you wanted to do. It won't be glass out there, but conditions will be more than bearable for a shakedown.

Agreed, a run to Anacapa should be ok. It won't be perfect, but it will be do-able and fishable. The likely spots on the backside of Anacapa and the yellow banks area should be ok. I'd rather work on the boat, but if you have to go, Anacapa will be the spot this weekend.
