Anything happening at Cachuma?

Anybody been to Cachuma lately or heard any news? I was thinking about heading up there this weekend. Need the lowdown.
Probably try to get a boat, if not try from shore. Since I've never been there, where should I try?

Creekster, Ironman, anybody??

Thanks,

It looks like the lake is open, or going to be open soon again to private boats:

Cachuma Lake remains open to boaters : Breaking : Ventura County Star

"A tag system will be implemented for those who fish only at Cachuma Lake, which will allow them to come and go at will with their boats."

There is a similar program being talked about for Casitas. It requires strapping your boat to the trailer with a Casitas seal on it. Hopefully, it will be put in place... but who knows when

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
