Lingcod Anyone?

Opener tomorrow!! Since the closure back in November...i must have caught between 5-10 legal lings. I'll probably get skunked now. But i'll be heading out to some of my spots on saturday. anyone else want to share their secret lingcod spots? I've had some luck behind aancapa in the 160-190ft range. i've also heard between cruz and the oil rigs but not really sure where the heck that is.......

squid anywhere recently?

Diamond jigs and live macks. Fish'um deep over heavy structure.

There are some stones in the gap that hold some big fish. Also Rosa has some toads...

No numbers I can post though...

No name yet but have one in the works I REALLY LIKE....I think a guy in Santa Barbara has it though. If not it will be blood vessel.

Ya will be the second trip as Saturday will be the shake down. We are heading out to Rosa so I am not going that far with out fist knowing all is working. Good luck to all going out be safe and have fun. Looks like a fantastic weekend so far if mother nature doesn't mess it up.

Carnivore, if you want to run Rosa on Saturday, Mitch and I are both going, weather permitting.
