WSB Weather

I'll just be the first to say it --
LOOK OUT - IT'S ABOUT TIME TO GET THE FREAKIN' WSB SHOW ON THE ROAD!!!

It's building... heat, moisture, dwindling winds, change in pressure, water temps about to kick...

I wouldn't be surprised if this spring weather pattern flips the switch.

Just a hunch!

Things are starting to change, but the forecast for the weekend is really jacked up. Just once I'd like NOAA to explain how you go from a 10-15 knot forecast to 20-30knot forecast. Why don't they just say they really have no clue and maybe it will blow, and maybe it won't. I don't know if those guys flip a coin, throw darts, or just pick numbers.

Yeah, the forecast for this weekend really went to crap...

Not sure what the heck is going on, but lets hope the WSB get it together soon.

good for you jimmy

Far as noaa..i think they throw chairs at each other. How they come up with some of thier forecasts is beyond me. You have forecasted SW winds at capa, and then you have NW winds at rosa. This is for sat. Hard to say whats going to happen. Either way im going. Reel Therapy can handle it. Morning should be fine, just have watch for the afternoon shift and be someplace manageable to get home from.

Yep, we are running as well, just a question of where. Who knows, the forecast will probably change a bit before late Friday night. I'll make the call at about 4am on Saturday which way we go. I have no intention of breaking my shorts and tee shirt rule.

OH I know it is just disconcerting to see a report that bad when your gearing up for a weekend out. I am headed out Saturday for sure but might only be fishing the break wall. I need to know everything is working right.

Last Sunday was spot on when I checked the buoy is was blowing 30 and the Ventura pier cam had nothing but white caps. Now I am hopping that they really mess things up and it is a lake out there with a nice under current LOL!!
